Die Reise der Frau
Die Frau stand inmitten der Menschenmenge und wartete auf die Kutsche, die sie an ihr Ziel bringen sollte. Es war ein kühler Morgen, und der Wind wehte sanft über die Ebene. In der Ferne sah sie eine Ente, die an einer Reihe von Bäumen entlang watschelte.
Die Frau hatte eine Pfeife in ihrer Tasche, mit der sie oft Tiere rief. „Vielleicht habe ich noch Zeit, die Insel zu besuchen“, dachte sie, während sie auf die Höhe des Hügels vor ihr blickte.
